In the book of Matthew, Jesus said, “I will build My church.” The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, reminds them that Jesus will sanctify His church, that He may present her unto Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle and that the church may be holy and without blemish. Our emphasis is that Jesus is the head of the church and our goal is to follow His commandments to the best of our ability.
Our mission is to fulfill the desire of Jesus and let Him be the author, builder and perfecter of our faith and His church. For that reason, we emphasize the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to increase in knowledge and understanding of His Glory so that we may share that knowledge and wisdom with others.
The Gospel is the good news that the just and gracious Creator of the universe has looked upon hopelessly sinful men and women and has sent His Son, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, to bare His wrath against sin on the cross and to show His power over sin in the resurrection, so that everyone who turns from their sin and themselves and trusts in Jesus as Savior and Lord will be reconciled to God forever.
